The crowd then started to roar again. Vera opened her eyes expecting to see the Ref stopping the fight, but instead she saw Lilim somehow standing up. Vera’s heart sank into her stomach as her eyes grew in horror as if she saw a ghost.

“No way!!” Vera yelled in her mind. How!!??”

Lilim was breathing heavily with blood still dripping off her face. Her blue gloves were close together in front of her chin. Her eyes were open, but were dim with color. The crowd was still cheering over the sight of Lilim getting back up.

The Ref grabbed Lilim’s gloves. “You alright Miss?” he asked with a concerned expression.
